Ayurvedic healers recommend Sapphire for diseases such as rheumatism, sciatica, neurological pain, epilepsy, hysteria and all nerve disorders, especially when set in gold and worn around the neck.
Sapphire will sometimes change colour if the person wearing the stone has an unfaithful nature. Gaze at this stone for several minutes as a preparation for meditation to help quieten and compose a racing, disturbed mind.
